I can't refuse a maxi dress. I just can't. They seriously are the best thing ever. Not only are they capable of being made in so many versatile prints, colors, and materials, but they are so comfortable. They can be sexy, sleek, stylish, modern, and anything in between.

This one has a bohemian feel to it with the crochet and colorful print. This dress is one of my favorites for spring and summer. This is all you would need for a tropical vacation or warm, beach day.

I can't help but obsess over printed pants. I love them, collect them, and wear them all the time. Not only is this pair a great cut, they also are in a chic print and color combination. They are so comfortable they feel like pajama pants, which makes them even better in my opinion. :)

Happy Monday to you all!

This quote was an inspiring one for me as I began my day:
Embrace change with open arms. It can lead to things you never thought possible and open doors you never would have dared walk through. Make this week a worthwhile one. Remember to keep an open mind to all that is possible.

Now let's get to the fashion. I love lavender - always have, always will. Here is a great lavender and floral maxi that I have had since the high-low trend first became prominent. The belt serves a dual purpose: I love the aesthetic it gives as an accessory and, quite frankly, this dress is big on me and I have yet to get it tailored. I will never make the mistake of giving something away due to improper fit. Most of the time a tailor can fit it to your body and make the piece uniquely your own.

I seem to collect maxi dresses and wear them all the time. They are so comfortable, relaxed, and true to my California casual style. Since this dress has a bohemian, romantic feel to it I continued to style in that direction with gold leaf earrings, gladiator sandals, and a loose, soft swept side braid.

I finally found a pair of shortalls that I love. They have a killer fit and are a great wash - not too light and not too dark. I love the thought of wearing shortalls with a crop top. This helps the overall look from looking too 90's and keeps it fresh. We all remember the overalls with the long sleeve, printed turtlenecks, right?

What are your thoughts on overalls? Short and long - a yay or nay?

Happy Friday to you all! Today was a beautiful day. I went with a printed maxi skirt (with side slits) along with a great, burgundy crop top. How could you not love this color? I paired these pieces with lots of bangles, rings, and a chunky, gold necklace.

I am looking forward to a great weekend! I hope you all have the same.

Fedoras, derby hats, sun hats, floppy hats, baseball caps ... I love em' all. This floppy hat adds such a bohemian feel to an outfit. I also am a big fan of its neutral color - I can wear it with anything.

Any of you Orange County locals must visit the Spotted Moth in Old Town Orange. I die for this store. They have so many beautiful, unique pieces - everything from clothing, accessories, and undergarments. You won't regret the trip. :)

Today I went with a fun, coral dress for a date night with my husband. I paired the dress with my go-to booties, a printed statement purse, and some crown braids. I also had to throw my favorite denim jacket into the mix because it truly goes with everything and is the perfection transition jacket as we move from winter evenings towards spring and summer evenings. I love the cut on this jacket - American Eagle truly did it right.

Happy Easter to you all! I'm still on vacation and enjoying this beautiful Sunday. Today was almost 100 degrees and made me very nostalgic for summer.

Today I went with this gorgeous Lucky Brand top. I wish you could see the fabric detail in person. The colors blend together in such a intricate and beautiful way. And who wouldn't love the strappy detail in the back? This is a big trend for summer.

Until next time,

I'm counting my blessings. I'm on vacation with my family enjoying my Easter weekend. Each day I feel luckier and luckier to live such a fulfilled, happy, and eventful life with such wonderful people. Tonight we went out to dinner and drinks. I went with a great tribal printed skirt. I balanced out the print and let the skirt be the focal point by pairing it with a white tank and simple jewelry. The studded shoes added a touch of edge to the overall look. I love the neutral tone of the shoes.

Happy Easter to you all.

Until next time,

California casual was what was calling my name today as I was contemplating my outfit. You can't go wrong with boyfriend jeans, a worn-in leather belt, and a white tank. This tank by Free People is one of my favorites. I have it in three colors because the cut is so fabulous.

On this cloudy and cold Tuesday, I went with some great cold weather essentials: leather leggings and a tweed statement jacket. You can't go wrong with this combination, especially if you are working with a black and white color scheme. I am one for simplicity in an outfit no matter what fashion mood I'm in - boho, classic, edgy, etc.

Tonight I went shooting with good friends and my husband. It was my first time and I'm not sure how I like it yet. I do know, though, that I love this Lucky Brand tank. It it such a cool looking piece to add to my closet. I love the boho, rock and roll, and edgy vibe it gives off.

Today I had to repeat this little beauty for an afternoon wine tasting with my husband. It was such a gorgeous Saturday. We are being spoiled here in So Cal with the most fabulous weather lately.

Hello all you fabulous readers,

I don’t know what is better about this skirt: the lace detail or the color. I was drawn to the gorgeous shade of purple on this piece as soon as I saw it. I have so many crop tops and tanks in my closet that I can pair this skirt with. You can truly change the look of this skirt by choosing what top, jacket, and shoes to pair it with. Imagine pairing a great leather jacket and some black stilettos with the skirt. It would be make a fun G.N.O. (Girl’s Night Out) or date night look. Now imagine taking that same skirt and creating a softer look by adding a white tank, neutral shoes, and a denim jacket. The possibilities are endless.

This skirt is another one of my Forever 21 scores from this past Sunday. This was a great piece to purchase at a killer price point (under $30!). Here I chose to style it with a white tank and denim vest. I love this look and can’t wait to wear it again soon.

Until next time,

xoxo Amanda
