life starts over again when it gets crisp in the fall

Fall is by far my favorite time of year. I am so in love with the fall weather, fashion, and anticipation of the holiday season. One of the best parts of fall is the yearly trip we make to Julian in San Diego county. Julian is the most darling mountain town known for its delicious apple pie, sweet people, and small town charm. I have been going there for as long as I can remember with my family. It is great to carry on the tradition now with my husband.

For today's adventure, I went with my beautiful and bohemian Free People dress with my faux fur vest and Sam Edelman suede booties. I was able to pair different prints and textures into my cohesive look due to each piece's neutral shade(s). What is your go-to look for visiting the pumpkin patch or heading to a apple town? Please share them with me via email or my instagram. I would love to hear them.

My family

Apple Alley has the best gluten-free apple and apple-berry pie in town. When I couldn't decide between the two flavors, I had to try both.

Anabelle and I stumbled upon this creeper during our pumpkin patch walk.

P.S. After getting caught up on much needed sleep yesterday (I slept in and napped twice!), I worked on more decorative touches on our place. I am looking forward to finishing the interior design and sharing my final look with you.

home is where the heart is

Hello all of you sweet peas,

I am officially moved into my place and have my wifi up and running. I am in LOVE with our new home and couldn't be happier with it. We are putting the finishing touches on our interior design this week and I will share all of the photos with you. This has been an exciting adventure for my husband and I. I am looking forward to settling in completely and getting my fashion posts up and running.
Here is one of my favorite trinkets that I picked up for our place.

on my mind

It's Monday and all I can think about is moving into our new home. I love interior design and see our new home's innermost potential. Here is a little glimpse of my new place as well as three inspiration photos from Pinterest. They are gorgeous, aren't they?

little details

I love little details. The lace and emobroidery on these pieces give them such an air and delicateness. It is no wonder I am always drawn to these pieces. They were my perfect additions to my Sunday ensemble.

home inspiration

As my husband and I gear up to move to our new place by the beach (SO unbelievably excited) I am starting to think of how I wish to decorate it. Right now our place is very Rustic Americana with lots of reclaimed wood, neutral colors, and dark, brown finishes. I am now looking into adding an eclectic, colorful touch a la Anthropologie to our current interior design. I have a pile of things to chalk paint and am so excited to add those splashes of color into our living room and office.

Here are a few photos I have been pinning on my Pinterest (username: Amanda Inlow). Please share any great photos or ideas you have for interior design. I would love to see them.

October

October is my favorite month for a lot of different reasons. Fall is by far my favorite season and I love layering in my cozy knits and coats, heading to Julian for apple pie and apple picking, and, of course, celebrating my birthday!

I was so inspired and in love with Free People's October catalog. I want every piece pronto! Here is my favorite set of photos from the catalog. Take a look and be inspired by these beautiful photos.

Sunday voile and lace

Sunday is my favorite day of the week. It is the day for spending time with those you love doing what you love. I believe Sunday attire is meant to reflect the ease and comfort of the day.

Here I am wearing my favorite denim cutoffs (courtesy of
Abercrombie and Fitch) with the infamous Free People voile
and lace slip dress. I love having the slip dress in multiple
colors because of how cute and comfortable it is. I think it looks great as a dress as well as tucked into jean shorts or worn over boyfriend jeans.

back at it

Hello to all you beautiful readers,

Remember when I used to blog full time? Yes, I do too and oh, how I missed it. Thank you to all of you loyal followers who have stuck with me and shared the love on my instagram account(WhatAmandaWore). I am always updating my instagram, but have been so busy lately I haven't been able to visit this site too much. Until now that is.

I am excited to get my blog up and running again bringing you the best fall outfits, inspiration, and swoon worthy styles.

This past weekend I celebrated my 25th birthday. What a great weekend to finally get some relaxation and enjoy the quality time I spent with my husband. Between a new job and new home things have been pretty crazy. I spent the day at the Glen Ivy and soaked up the sun, lounged around the spas, and had the most relaxing massage.

Spa chic was the only way to spend my birthday. How darling is this hot pink sun hat with my fringe bikini? In love.
